
The Turkey Chamber of Commerce Workshop was held in Shanghai on January 24. Turkish Businessmen in China had been striving for many years to establish a chamber of commerce. Finally, it was announced that the official application for the establishment of Turkey chamber of commerce in China had been successfully submitted, and the workshop facilitated discussions and exchange of views on the chamber’s structure.
Kadriye Yaprak Taşar, the Commercial Attaché in Shanghai, announced on social media that the official application for the establishment of the Turkey Chamber of Commerce in China had been successfully completed. She emphasized that the chamber is still in the application phase and underlined that its establishment would strengthen the commercial activities of Turkish companies in China.
She stated that a comprehensive roadmap regarding the chamber’s priorities, areas of activity, and structure was created and discussed at the workshop.

Taşar also stated that it is important for all associations and firms wishing to do business with China or expand their activities in the region to participate in this formation, adding that Turkish firms acting in unity, sharing experiences among those who know the market intimately, will increase the efficiency and success of the process and accelerate the processes.
