The Turkish Embassy in Beijing and the Yunus Emre Institute hosted a joint cultural exchange event between Turkey and China on April 18 to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Beijing Commercial Attaché Atakan Özdemir presented Turkey’s trade and investment environment.
Professor Eyüp Sarıtaş, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute, gave an opening speech titled “Anatolian Civilization.” The event also included demonstrations of Turkish marbling art, Turkish song performances, and a presentation of Turkish cuisine and Turkish coffee.
