
The annual general meeting of the Chinese Business Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye was successfully held in Ankara on February 9th. The meeting was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Ankara Jiang Xuebin, Embassy Counselor Li Bin, and representatives from over 40 companies. A new council was elected at the meeting, with Bank of China (Türkiye) JSC elected as the new chairman.
In his speech, Chinese Ambassador to Ankara Jiang Xuebin fully endorsed the Chamber council’s achievements over the past year and congratulated the new council. Ambassador Jiang stated that the strategic cooperation between China and Türkiye gained good momentum last year, pragmatic cooperation in various fields developed steadily, and bilateral trade reached a new peak, all of which cannot be considered separately from the efforts of Chinese businesses in Türkiye. Throughout the past year, the Chamber has conducted effective work in accordance with the principles of “guidance, coordination, service, communication, and rights protection.” He expressed hope that under the leadership of the new council, the Chamber will further strengthen its own development, proactively serve businesses, improve risk prevention efforts, and fulfill its social responsibilities.
