
The forum, jointly organized by the Turkish-Chinese Business Development and Friendship Association, the Turkey-China Friendship Association, the Shanghai University Institute of Global Studies, and Istanbul Okan University, will begin tomorrow in Istanbul. Speakers from Turkey and China, including ambassadors, consuls, academics, and businesspeople, will be among the participants. Speakers will include Turkish Ambassador to Beijing Selçuk Ünal, Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, Chinese Consul General in Istanbul Wei Xiaodong, President of the Turkish-Chinese Business Development and Friendship Association Adnan Akfırat, President of the Turkey-China Friendship Association Şükrü Koçoğlu, President of the Shanghai University Institute of Global Studies Guo Changgang, Founder of Istanbul Okan University Bekir Okan, CHP Parliament Member Yüksel Mansur Kılınç, and lawyer Faik Işık, as well as academics and businesspeople from Turkey and China.
The forum will feature discussions and exchanges of views on various collaborations, covering topics such as the state of bilateral relations between Turkey and China over the past 55 years, scientific and technological business opportunities, strategic partnerships, investment, cultural and people-to-people relations, and the positions of Turkey and China in a multipolar world.
