
The list of China’s happiest cities for 2025 was announced. On December 9, the ‘Happy Cities Forum 2025’ was held in Chengdu, China. At the forum, 11 provincial capitals, 11 prefecture-level cities, 10 urban districts and 11 county-level cities were listed as China’s happiest cities for 2025. Chengdu was chosen as China’s happiest city at the forum. Chengdu, with a history spanning over 2300 years and an important center of China, has been on the list for 17 years.
